Lecture Description

UTokyo Open Lecture series aims to directly communicate outcomes of our academic research to a larger audience.The theme of the 132th lecture is Data.

In the field of economic history, whose object is the history of economics, quantitative data are more used in research than in other fields.
The lecture explains how to quantify and analyze objects in economic historical research based on the lecturer's research.
